Next Food Distribution Date: September 29th @ 8AM
We work with the San Antonio Food Bank to provide a once a month drive-thru food pantry on the fourth Friday of every month. Therefore, we work within their rules and guidelines concerning who qualifies for assistance and how we distribute the food.
Who Qualifies? In order to receive commodities you will fill out a San Antonio Food Bank application form H 1555 and our staff will determine your future certification based on the information you provide. We will certify you based on categorical eligibility (SNAP, TSNF, Supplemental Security Income, National School, Lunch Program , Medicaid), income eligibility, and/or household crisis.
How to Receive Goods. On the day of distribution, the line of vehicles begins on our north side Olive Street parking lot, It circles around the front of our church and down Peach Street on the south side of our church. Our staff will check each vehicle to determine if the occupants are on our food pantry list. If not, you can fill out an application at that time. You may call our number 830-769-3552 and leave a message if you are needing food assistance on days other than our monthly distribution day. We will return your call and coordinate a meeting time if possible.
Limitations: At this time we allow two registered households per vehicle to receive commodities.
October: Friday, October 27th
November: Friday, November 17th
December: Friday, December 22nd
